Kitty Dimbleby is a freelance journalist, based in Bath and London, whose first picture-bylined article appeared in a national newspaper when she was only 14. Formerly a staff writer for the Daily Mail Femail department, Kitty spent two years generating feature ideas and writing copy for that section.

She became a full time journalist in 2003 working in Features at the Evening Standard, as well as taking time out to travel - which on-going passion has led to several travel articles for the Mail on Sunday and Daily Mail travel sections.

For the past year she has worked for the Mail on Sunday's Feature department, tackling every sort of article, from comment to reportage. Notably, in 2007 she reported from Iraq and was the last journalist ever to visit Basra Palace - the British Army base in Basra. In 2008 she filed two major reports from Afghanistan.

As a freelancer Kitty has contributed to The Daily Mail, The Mail on Sunday, The Times, The Guardian, The Evening Standard, London Lite, Cosmopolitan, Metro, Resurgence Magazine and In The Know.

She specialises in Human Interest, Reportage and Health.
